This Orient-themed casino is the most globally-accessible casino I’ve come across in a long time, with support for 21 countries and skins in over a dozen languages. As detailed in the Security section below, Imperial Casino is recognized by numerous independent gaming accounting and auditing organizations for its superior quality in all areas of service, security, and support. Unfortunately, I don’t know that I agree with the kudos for customer services, simply because of a lack of contact options. Imperial Casino is also slightly lacking in the software department.
Bonuses & Promotions
After redeeming the $200 signup bonus, there are no further bonuses or promotions to be acquired at ImperialCasino. Not even a loyalty program. This is a problem I hope they resolve soon. If it weren’t for their progressive jackpots (with more than triple the payouts of any other site), their sheer lack of bonuses and promotions would be a deal-breaker.
Software & Graphics
Imperial Online Casino uses a software until now unfamiliar to me – Grand Virtual Gaming Software. The graphics and sound with this software are kind of archaic, a bit flat and old-school video gamey. Really, this looks like I should be playing it on my palm pilot. The interfaces are bare-bones, not particularly intuitive or customizable. On the plus side, the connections are reliable, I had no problems with bugs/glitches/timeouts, and the speed of gameplay was ok.
At last count, Imperial Casino hosted no less than 27 progressive jackpots in all sorts of great games. Besides the oh-so-typical progressive slots, this place has Caribbbean Cyberstud, a Lotto, Golf Solitaire and a bunch of poker and video poker variants – all with progressive jackpots! At the time of this writing, current unclaimed progressive jackpots totaled over $7.75 million, more than any other site reviewed here to date. Beyond these, there are over 100 other games, a handful from each category – table games, card games, slots – plus Roshambo (Rock-Paper-Scissors), Solitaire, Scratch Ticket, Keno, and Chuck-A-Luck (a dice game that’s not craps).
Payouts, Cashouts & Security
These folks handle over $500 million annually in player transactions. So far so good. Imperial Casino is a founding member of the Online Gaming Alliance, with strict codes of conduct to ensure “fair play, consistent quality, security and privacy to gaming enthusiasts all over the world.” All Imperial’s random number generators are regularly tested and approved by Technical Testing Systems. They also follow the codes of conduct of the Interactive Gaming Council (IGC) and are an approved casino of the ICRA.
With so many countries in so many languages served, it’s not surprising that they don’t have telephone support or live web chat – but they should. As it is, their 10 email departments (most of which serve administrative, advertising, HR, and PR needs) and their email form are inadequate.
